We strongly recommend you to come to the meeting, cause a lot more information will be given them. It is required to attend this meeting to join this program. The meeting place and time will be:
September 29th 4pm, Loop Campus CTI building 2nd floor lobby.
3. I am very interested in the program, but I am graduating soon.
You don't have to be an enrolled student to be in the program. If you will work around Chicago area, it is still a very good program for you. We welcome all the alumni too.
4. When will the program approximately begin.
After we gather registration forms from students, we will arrange a meeting, maybe a big dinner two weeks after that with all the host families. The program will begin pretty much after that.
5. The program sounds good but I am too busy to get involved.
It really depends on you and your host family that how often you gather together.
6. I am not quite sure how the program will work for me. Can CSA give some advices to me?
The reason why CSA will work on introducing this program to our fellow students is that we belive it is a very good opportunity for each of us. We may have been in US for years but still feel alienated from the society. Living in a big city like Chicago is enhancing the tendence of feeling alienated too. In fact, there are lots of friendly native people who are willing to help us to adapt to the society and willing to share with us the culture differences. Friendship Family Program is just such a program that will brigh you and these friendly people together. We do think you can benefit from it.
