Summer Internships and Special Internships
There are some very formal programs for doing internships during the summer. We have a resource page on this site to lead you to the ones that we know about. These programs are usually very competitive and require students to apply for them months ahead of time. Summer internships are sometimes combined with research opportunities for those who are considering going on for graduate study in the computing sciences.
Sometimes the Career Center helps organizations interview for these types of internships, sometimes students apply for these types of internships online, sometimes students have to send in paper applications for these types of internships. Often, students will need a faculty member or a former employer to write a letter of recommendation for these internships. Go back
Read through the resources in these internship pages. If you need help thinking about internships, make an appointment to see your faculty advisor in CTI.
